This policy covers the XpressCoupon — AliExpress Promo Codes browser extension (“the extension”), published by XpressCoupon™. It is separate from the privacy policy for xpresscoupon.com, which covers the website.

1. The short version

The extension does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking inside the extension. Everything it needs to work is a public list of coupon codes downloaded from this website.

2. What the extension does

When you are on an AliExpress page, the extension shows the AliExpress promo codes published by XpressCoupon that are valid at that moment, and lets you copy a code or open the matching page on xpresscoupon.com. That is its only function. Expired codes are filtered out automatically based on each code’s published start and end time.

3. Data the extension handles

  • The coupon feed. The extension downloads a public file of promo codes from https://xpresscoupon.com/coupons.json. This is a one-way download of public data. No information about you is attached to that request beyond the standard network metadata every web request carries, such as your IP address, which we do not log for this purpose.
  • Local settings. The extension stores a cached copy of that coupon list on your own device using your browser’s local storage, so the panel opens instantly. This never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

4. What we never do

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, browsing history, or the contents of pages you visit.
  • We do not read your cart, your orders, your payment details or any form you fill in.
  • We do not modify AliExpress pages, and we do not interfere with AliExpress’s own affiliate attribution or checkout in any way.
  • We do not inject affiliate links or set affiliate cookies from the extension.
  • We do not load remote code, ads or third-party trackers inside the extension.
  • We do not sell, rent or share any user data — because none is collected.

5. Permissions, explained

The extension requests the smallest set of permissions that lets it do its one job:

  • storage — caches the coupon list on your device so the panel opens quickly and still works if you briefly go offline.
  • alarms — refreshes that cached list a few times a day in the background so the codes stay current.
  • Access to xpresscoupon.com — downloads the public coupon feed described above.
  • Runs on aliexpress.com and aliexpress.us — displays the coupon panel while you shop. The extension only needs to know that you are on an AliExpress page; it does not read the page’s content.

6. Affiliate disclosure

XpressCoupon is an independent, affiliate-supported publisher. Pages on xpresscoupon.com may contain affiliate links, and if you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The extension itself contains no affiliate mechanics — it links to our website, where you choose whether to click through. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by AliExpress or Alibaba Group.

7. Children’s privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to this policy

If the extension’s behaviour changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will also be noted in the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
