Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

1. The short version

The extension does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking inside the extension. Everything it needs to work is a public list of coupon codes downloaded from this website. This privacy-policy webpage may use website analytics under the separate XpressCoupon website Privacy Policy; that website analytics code is not part of the Chrome extension.

2. What the extension does

When you click the XpressCoupon toolbar icon, Chrome opens a side panel that shows current AliExpress promo codes published by XpressCoupon. The panel separates Sale Coupons, Global and USA Exclusive offers, lets you enter a cart subtotal to find the best eligible tier, and lets you copy a code manually. Expired codes are filtered out automatically based on each code’s published start and end time.

3. Data the extension handles

• The coupon feed. The extension downloads a public file of promo codes from https://xpresscoupon.com/coupons.json. This is a one-way download of public data. The HTTPS request necessarily exposes standard network metadata to the web server, such as an IP address and user agent. The extension does not attach account, cart, browsing, order or checkout data to the request. Website and server data practices are described in the XpressCoupon website Privacy Policy.
• Local extension data. The extension stores a cached copy of the public coupon list and a short list of recently copied coupon codes on your own device using Chrome local storage. This data is used only to make the side panel faster and more convenient, never leaves your device through the extension, and is removed when you uninstall it. Cart subtotals entered in the finder are not saved or transmitted.

4. What we never do

• We do not collect names, email addresses, browsing history, or the contents of pages you visit.
• We do not read your cart, your orders, your payment details or any form you fill in.
• We do not modify AliExpress pages, and we do not interfere with AliExpress’s own affiliate attribution or checkout in any way.
• We do not inject affiliate links or set affiliate cookies from the extension.
• We do not load remote code, ads or third-party trackers inside the extension.
• We do not sell, rent or share any user data - because none is collected.

5. Permissions, explained

The extension requests the smallest set of permissions that lets it do its one job:

• storage caches the public coupon list and recent-copy history on your device so the side panel loads quickly and can continue to show bundled or cached coupon data if the live feed is temporarily unavailable.
• sidePanel lets XpressCoupon open its interface in Chrome’s native side panel when you click the extension toolbar icon.
• Access to xpresscoupon.com downloads the public coupon feed described above over HTTPS. The extension does not request access to AliExpress pages.

6. Affiliate disclosure

XpressCoupon is an independent, affiliate-supported publisher. Pages on xpresscoupon.com may contain affiliate links, and if you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The extension itself contains no affiliate mechanics; it links to our website, where you choose whether to click through. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by AliExpress or Alibaba Group.

7. Children’s privacy

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to this policy

If the extension’s behaviour changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will also be noted in the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
